Challenge

Design an event identity that honors Louise Fili’s aesthetic without directly imitating her work, while extending the visual language across multiple applications.

Solution

Inspired by Italian decorative arts and vintage typography, the project uses custom patterns, elegant typography, and ornamental flourishes to communicate sophistication and timeless craftsmanship.

Created for SCAD’s AIGA Medalist speaker series, this project celebrates renowned designer Louise Fili through a cohesive collection of print and promotional materials inspired by her signature use of typography and ornamentation.
